titter@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What dessert or junkfood do you always keep in stock at home?2·9 months agoTypically i see them served in syrup and not coated in candy, and somehow they are so much thicker a petal than you imagine. I assume theyre using a specific type of hibiscus and not just the kind everyone grows for yard decor. More of a yucca flower texture honestly.
They may have actual candied ones to i didn’t even bother looking it up yet, of course.
These are what i normally see https://www.wildhibiscus.com/collections/retail/products/wild-hibiscus-flowers-in-syrup

titter@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•what's your favorite thing to put on fries that isn't ketchup?3·1 year agoGaram Masala!
Idk how useful this is but that looks like when i had bad RAM, or like when RAM becomes unseated. You could try reseating your RAM, YMMV.
titter@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Does anyone know of a decent replacement for Sunkist Diet Lemonade soda (which was taken off the shelves maybe a decade ago)?1·1 year agoThey are still a little sweet, and a liquid will go a long way to make them more in line with what you might want.
Anyways have a nice day!
titter@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Does anyone know of a decent replacement for Sunkist Diet Lemonade soda (which was taken off the shelves maybe a decade ago)?3·1 year agoI really like the Spindrift brand of sparkling water. It’s just water, and fruit juice, no sweetener. The lemon or lime are very refreshing, and it seems they recently added three flavors of lemonade to their lineup which I’m going to have to try now.
titter@lemmy.worldto Crappy Design@sh.itjust.works•You want mildly toasted toast, which way do you turn the dial?English3·2 years agoThe real trick is that this toaster has a track of wire that moves inside the toaster to move the bread under heating elements. The knob changes the rate the track moves at. Counter clockwise gets you a slower track and more time exposed to the heat.
From my experience, between gator and frog you have
Gator: chicken with a hint of fish
Frog: fish with a hint of chicken
