I do report a lot of cheaters, but I never know if it even does anything. I pretty much only play casual anyways. The worst is when someone is obviously cheating, and no one votes to kick them, or some special types actually vote against kicking the cheater so they can win …

ETA: the AI agents sounds cool, as long as legit players don’t get mistakenly banned. I didn’t realize cheating was such a huge problem these days until I started playing CS2 again. I used to scrim 1.6 Back in the day and never really had that problem that I can remember.

Valves anti-cheat doesn’t really do anything though, at least not in CS2. It does like to boot me from the game from time to time because I’m playing on Linux though.

This is really interesting, but I guess I don’t fully understand it. Does this replace your ISP (like Comcast for example), or am I just reconfiguring my browser to access these sites and not send my traffic through the regular Internet?

Not exactly a movie, but my older sisters had me watch the original IT mini-series when I was very young and I had clown nightmares for years after.

It’s because half the player base still only has the PS4, like myself. I just could never justify spending that much money on a console that can only hold like 8 games Anyways without paying a crazy amount for extra storage, when I can still play the same games on the console I already have. I was more than happy to spend twice the money building a decent desktop where I can play just about anything I want with way more freedom.

I’m a fellow pop user myself, and enjoying it. It’s my first Linux distro. I’m excited to try their new version when it’s ready. I’ve been thinking about switching and trying it out in beta cause I’ve heard good things already.

I only got banned for 7 days and I said go fuck yourselves reddit. I was already trying to get off of it along with all socials, but I still feel the need to talk with strangers online so here I am on Lemmy. And yes, there is a learning curve with Lemmy.
