They do at least use Godot in part of the game so that’s nice.
KiwiTB@lemmy.worldto Games@lemmy.world•Battlefield 6's beta has only been running for a day, but it's already suffering from a FPS curse with cheaters breaking out the wallhacksEnglish1·17 days agoI agree that only sending absolute needed data is a great policy for stopping all sorts of cheating. I could see them skipping this step if they don’t have a way of doing it fast enough that won’t cause other issues like player pop in. That’s what it’s have to assume.

My machine doesn’t have a TPM. I understand they are trying to make things easier for their team, but I agree I’d rather have wider support.

All you can do is minimise it.
Don’t make claims you can’t backup with evidence.

Seeing how they're about freedom to buy games.English1·23 days agoSure… But disks are not part of GOG and have nothing to do with it. It would be like complaining a corner store sold you can of coke for 10 bucks but the coke vending machine outside says $1.

Also an always on save system sucks, it never made sense when Ubisoft tried it, still makes no sense now. But it’s not DRM, and had nothing to do with GOG.

Office is it’s cash cow and so they avoid standards deliberately to make it harder to move off. There are plenty of alternatives, lots of email software, etc. It’s just about taking your time and moving bit by bit. You can install LibreOffice and Mozilla Thunderbird on Windows to try them out. LibreOffice being what replaced open office.
Looks fine, no issue with the design.
