Did you find any other comparable solutions out of curiosity? Annoying, but obviously not a deal breaker to make me go back to Windows!

And I used to solve this back in the day with a KDE Widget that added Display Profiles as a function and I could press a button to switch them on the fly, unfortunately it hasn’t been updated in five years and it only works on X11 and not Wayland.
The thing that’s fucking me up in the last month since I switched is the fact that when I press Windows Key + P to switch Displays to just my second monitor (when I want to use my consoles), switching it back causes KDE to count the monitors as separated for some reason. Like they are virtually spaced apart, so I’m stuck in one monitor instead of being able to use both. It also resets my second monitor to the primary one for some reason. Very strange, never an issue on Windows.
Had this phone, Google pushed an OS update that caused the bootloader to get corrupted on a factory reset. Tried to tell me I had to pay them to get the motherboard replaced even though their faulty ass update broke the phone. Three months out of warranty. Never buying a pixel again.
I’m so hyped for that DLC. I’m hoping it makes VS even more expensive and fun. It’s a match made in heaven.
That’s my favorite Castlevania game!! Good luck with your runs! I’m so hyped for the Vampire Survivors Castlevania DLC.
I’ve also been playing with my buds WEBFISHING which is basically an Animal Crossing esc chill fishing game with lots of neat stuff to do. It’s really fun to play just to hang out with your friends and chat.
If you want something more intense as well, STRAFTAT just released yesterday and it’s fun as hell. It’s basically a Free to Play (Not P2W) 1v1 arena shooter that’s really hectic. It’s got a really strange aesthetic that I really like and it’s quite fun for a free little game. And if you end up liking it, you can throw the devs a bone and buy a $5 DLC that adds more maps, weapons, and cosmetics. They even made it so only the host has to buy the DLC and anyone who connects gets to play on those maps with those weapons for free. Really neat little game and really fun with a buddy.
Just got into Metaphor ReFantazio! Just reached the first major dungeon and so far I am very impressed. Quite a lot of great QOL stuff over the Persona series, and it has a very well written story with a very unique vibe so far.
I personally think I still prefer the vibe of Persona over Metaphor, but this is seriously a really cool game. I highly recommend you try out the Prologue demo even if you’ve never played Persona before or don’t care for JRPGs, because this is something truly different and I think there’s still a chance you might like it. The demo is super meaty too since it’s literally just the first four hours or so of the game.
Rural American here. We drive 30 mins to the nearest bigish city to do all of our grocery shopping every weekend.
Have Eclipse on my list up next after I finish up Astro Bot. Happy to see it getting good reviews!
Is there any reason you recommend two specifically over three? I know there is a third Orcs Must Die game but I have no idea if the community considers it “good” or not.
Good recommendation! I’ve played a decent bit of Zomboid, but never with any mods. I definitely should check some out!
I own DOS 2 from back when it came out, does DOS 1 still hold up? Would it be better if we just played 2 either way?
Wow they blocked wine? That sucks wow. I bet that means Steam Deck compatibility is a no go now too huh. That really is too bad.
Haven’t personally used it but I heard there is a native Roblox client for Linux called Grapejuice. Might be worth looking into to solve one problem. I have no idea if it’s good or not but here’s a link: https://brinkervii.gitlab.io/grapejuice/
Around 2017 I spent three days on and off trying to diagnose why my laptop running elementary OS had no wifi support. I reinstalled the wifi drivers and everything countless times. It worked for many days initially then just didn’t one day when I got on the laptop. Turns out I had accidentally flipped the wifi toggle switch while it was in my bag. I forgot the laptop had one. Womp womp.
This looks really fascinating. Looks like this may have some more features that I need for my Stream Deck compared to other ones for it on Linux. Might have to hope on a Live USB and check it out. Thanks for sharing!!
I did take a look at that once before and it didn’t quite have all the features that I use daily on my Stream Deck, but thanks for linking to it! Maybe I should take a look again since it’s been a year or so.
Oh it’s because I don’t have a proper HDMI switch, I’m using the three inputs on one monitor, so unless I switch the output manually thru the monitor, it won’t automatically switch to the console. The solution for this is to select Laptop screen under the win+p menu in KDE
